Soprano & Organ
Since 2016, this dynamic duo have partnered together creating sacred and secular music programs for soprano and keyboard instruments. From Louis-Nicolas Clérambault to Richard Wagner, the duo have a wide and colourful spectrum of music in their repertoire which can be tailored to many organs and spaces.
Both artists have a passion to explore and develop the music for soprano and organ. Since meeting whilst studying in Detmold, Germany, they have been able to grow a musical language together, which has stemmed from their different backgrounds, cultural experiences, education and passion for music. Discovering new repertoire from various countries and eras, as well as collaborating with modern composers to develop the music for their duo, they give concerts regularly throughout Europe.
In 2021 - the duo released their debut CD - Dusk to Dawn.
Dusk to Dawn
Representing different lights during different times of day and how they affect moods and atmosphere, this program showcases pieces from the romantic era to modern day music for Soprano and Organ. Alongside works from Gustav Mahler, Max Reger and Louis Vierne - there also features new compositions from young Scottish composer and BBC prize winner, Tom Harrold.
